Some things I learned while grilling on my gas stove

1. Flame-retardant does not equal flame-proof
2. Cooling racks/toaster oven racks do not make good grilling racks.
3. Eggplant seeds are highly combustible. Take care when grilling to ensure none fall into the flames.
4. It is not worth it to try to get every crevice of a red bell pepper charred. You will fail, and most likely set something on fire in the process.
5. The tops of bell peppers, eggplants, etc. are flammable. Therefore, it is best to remove them prior to indoor grilling.
6. If you are anywhere near as ADD as I am, this might not be a good activity for you to try.
7. Following from #6, DO NOT LEAVE ITEMS ON THE FLAME UNATTENDED!
