Strawberries

Note to self: never make the mistake of going to the grocery store without checking the sale paper.

Why?

I made that mistake yesterday. Went to Meijer to get some fruits and vegetables and other things and discovered that the soup I’ve been addicted to for the past few months was on sale: 10 for $10 and, guess what, get the 11th free. Not only did I end up picking up a case of soup, I got a couple frozen veggies that were part of the deal too. Now, the only mistake I made was not realizing the strawberries were part of the deal before I got to the checkout.

Long story short. I now have 8 boxes of strawberries when I only wanted two. Any suggestions?

Hey thanks for the idea! I remember taking this cooking class one summer when I was a little kid and we made fresh strawberry jelly or jam. It was like no store-bought thing I’ve ever tasted. But, then again, what is?
